This
movie tells about Bryan, a retired CIA agent working as a celebrity bodyguard.
He has a daughter named Kim. Kim lives with her mother, Lenore and also her
stepfather. Kim convince Bryan to allow her to go to Paris to see a U2 concert
with her friend, Amanda. Bryan still not agree with Kim’s decision to travel to
Paris but eventually Bryan let her go. When Kim and Amanda arrive in Paris,
they share cab ride with a stranger named Peter. Amanda tells Peter that they
are alone in Paris. Using that information, an Albanian gang as the human
trafficker gang going to kidnap the girls. They proceed to kidnap her but Kim calls
her father and give him information the kidnappers. Bryan gets to speak with
the kidnapper and promises to them to find and kill the kidnappers if they do
not let Kim free. After knowing that information Bryan travels to Paris to find
his daughter and her friend.
On
the private jet, Bryan plays the recording of Kim’s call over and over again to
analyze the kidnapper’s identity. In Paris, Bryan gains access to the apartment
where Kim and Amanda was kidnapped. Based on Bryan’s analysis on the apartment
he got a lot of information about the kidnappers. Bryan knows the kidnappers is
the Albanian human trafficker gang and he act like the customer. From there he
met another human trafficking victim named Jane and get the more information
from her. Bryan tried to find the Albanian gang house and he make a deal with
the leader of the Albanian gang to let Kim free from the prostitution business.
The Albanian leader does not agree to let one of his victim go. To protect his
daughter, Bryan tried to kill all the member of the Albanian gang. With the
help from Bryan’s friend named Jean-Claude he gained access to the party hosted
by the leader of the Albanian gang.
Then
Bryan knows that Kim is in the party and she is being auctioned. He forced
someone to bid Kim but when Bryan leaves the bidding room he is knocked
unconscious by someone. To let Kim free from the chaos situation, Bryan shoots
Saint Clair in the head. Saint Clair as the Boss of the Albanian human
traffickers already death in Bryan’s hand. Back in the United State, Kim
reunited with her mother also her stepfather. Lenore felt regret to allow Kim
went to Paris, and she said thank you to Bryan for bringing Kim back home.

The
reason why this is my favorite scene because Bryan was very calm when dealing with that
kind of situation. By giving Kim direction to remember all the characteristic
of the kidnappers, based on the Kim’s explanation Bryan knows and get the
information about the Albanian gang and finally Bryan successfully bring Kim
back home and let her free from the human trafficking business.

The
reason why I like this scene because this scene reflects to the father’s sacrifice
in order to let his daughter free from being kidnapped by a human trafficking
cartel. With all his effort, he finally can bring his daughter back.
